Comic worked around a specific factory, in this case the Fábrica Nacional de Tabacos de Cádiz (National Tobacco Factory of Cádiz).

The story revolves around a family (1850) that arrives with hopes of having a better life, finding a society and customs very different from those expected, where women were the only ones hired in the factory and, therefore, men begin to acquire a role hitherto considered a woman, taking care of the home, children, etc..
